February 3rd-February 28th Green Bay Early Childhood Center
LEAP NEWS
Focus:
The next unit of study is HEALTH and Fitness! We will first discover what it means to be healthy. The children will learn about germs and how to protect themselves and others by covering their sneezes, wiping their noses and washing their hands. We will also work more on brushing their teeth and eating healthy foods. The children will have fun engaging in many different motor games. We will practice following 2-step motor directions (i.e. turn around then stand on one foot) and also moving and stretching our bodies in different ways while practicing yoga. The last week we will focus on sports and the Winter Olympics! Hopefully the weather will get warmer so we can enjoy the snow!
